Social Services at the Per-Course Institute
The Per-Curso Institute, through its professors, newly graduated analysts, and students, offers low-income Brazilian immigrants residing in the United States or another country the opportunity to receive analytical care with discounts on sessions, the first three being completely free.
We provide individual care for adolescents and adults and, in some situations, a joint care modality for parents and children.
To be approved, the social services candidate must complete the registration form below. Based on this information, we will contact you to schedule an interview and evaluate your case.
The Per-Curso Institute reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to reject candidates for Social Services.
Why seek psychoanalytic treatment?
Psychoanalytic therapy, performed by professionals who offer a unique listening experience, addresses the most varied manifestations of emotional distress. Throughout life—and especially for those who move to another country—we face countless challenges that destabilize and sadden us, causing anxiety and other discomforts.
The psychoanalyst welcomes and seeks to understand the sources of anguish and pain, as they present themselves to each person. This work promotes the expansion of self-knowledge and contributes to addressing the psychological suffering generated in each person's history.
